Illustration, Comics, Tomfoolery
Tried to do a comic for each hour of the day, but realized I was spending more time on the comics than … any work at all. But it was a good experience and I’m rather happy with what I ended up with.
Is is sad that my favourite one is the cat barf one? I think it’s a little sad.
Be warned, it’s a rather large file. Just sayin’.
Just finished another illustration for Sessions From the Box, this time of the band Garage A Trois. Nothing much going on other than that. Cheers. Oh, in case you were curious, this is what pops up when you google “spacewalk”. That my friends, is what you call awesome.
It is nearly Christmas time. Just need to send out those cards which calls for a ride down to the post office. Good thing the weather is actually lovely today! Finished this illustration today. I’m rather a fan of the lines on their own as well – so you get to see both. Good on you.
Added a new image to the Illustration gallery, as well as a newer and updated version of the Mother Mary image after some much appreciated and very helpful art direction from the fabulous Mr. Lee Moyer. It’s going to be making appearances in a few friends’ mailboxes this holiday season as the Goudreau Family’s yearly Christmas Card! And just to keep things fresh, here’s a little drawing I did to warm up this morning. Rockin.
Here’s a drawing I did to get used to using a brush pen succesfully rather than just playing around with it in my sketchbook. I’m rather fond of it! The character is one of mine, just something that’s been floating around in my head lately.
I created another image for the site Sessions from the Box . The musician is Erin McKeown. Despite an unexpected trip to DC for nearly a week and a power outage while I was working on it, I managed to get to the finish line and I’m happy with the end result. Rock on.
I came up with an alternate sketch while researching the artist myself but it didn’t seem to really jive with Erin’s image and stage persona, so it’ll be a little side illustration I’ll work on. So look forward to it! I can say it involves dandilions. And of course everyone knows that dandilions are the epitome of awesome.
Going to be going public just as soon as I can switch over the files.
But I did just add a new image to the Illustration gallery. Here’s the sketch that I worked from to get to the final product! Done for the local band Les Etranger.
I am just about there with pulling this site together. I’m just trying to work out a few more things before going public.
